Czech republic visa Information, Embassy in Czech republic
The Czech Republic is now part of the European Union. Nationals of all E.U. countries, Australia, Canada, Japan, New Zealand, the USA and many other countries can visit Prague for up to 90 days, and UK citizens for up to 180 days, without a visa. Nationals of South Africa and certain other countries must obtain a visa before travel.
Visa requirements for tourists visiting Prague and the Czech Republic
Visas are NOT required by nationals of the following countries:
(a) United Kingdom (U.K.) for stays up to 180 days;
(b) E.U. countries, Andorra, Argentina, Australia, Bolivia, Brazil, Brunei, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Croatia, Guatemala, Hong Kong, Iceland, Israel, Japan, Korea (Rep), Liechtenstein, Macau, Malaysia, Mexico, Monaco, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Norway, Paraguay, Salvador, San Marino, Switzerland, Uruguay, USA, Vatican City & Venezuela for stays up to 90 days;
(c) Bulgaria, Cyprus, Romania & Singapore for stays up to 30 days.

Visas generally take 7 working days if the application is made in person, 14 working days if the application is made by post.
Passport information for tourists visiting Prague and the Czech Republic
Passport requirements for visitors NOT requiring visas:
E.U. nationals: valid passport for the length of the visit (i.e. the passport must not expire before visitors leave the Czech Republic).
Other nationals: passport must be valid for at least 3 months after the departure date from the Czech Republic.
Passport requirements for visitors requiring visas:
passport must be valid for at least 3 months after the expiration date of visa.
