Classical Music Prague
Prague is gorgeous place for classical music lovers. You can enjoy a half dozen concerts every evening there. They are held either in the historic concert halls or in churches. Find the schedule at any visitor center or get the invitation just from the concert-agent on the street (do not worry they will hunt you up :-) You should not miss to visit some of the most famous concert places:

Opera and Ballet in Prague
There are a couple of opera or ballet performances every night in Prague. The best known performances are held by Prague State Opera and by the Prague National Theatre Opera at three beautiful opera houses. Opera performances are usually sung in the original language with subtitles (English ones with Czech operas and Czech ones with all the others). English program brochures are always available.

Formerly the German Theatre is the most beautiful opera house in Prague. Presets either Aida, Un Ballo in Maschera, La Traviata, Nabucco, Rigoletto, Carmen, La Boheme (Leoncavallo), La Boheme (Puccini), Madama Butterfly, Tosca, Turandot, Cosi fan tutte, The Magic Flute, Treemonisha (Joplin), Beatrice et Benedict (Berlioz) and Dimitri (Dvorak), ballet Dame aux Camelias (Verd /Onsoff) daily at 7 pm.
Prague National Theatre

Prague Theatre of the Estates

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart himself conducted the world premiere of his Don Giovanni in this building in 1787. Now it presents either Don Giovanni, Le Nozze di Figaro, The Magic Flute, Nagano (Smolka), Ilsea's Heart (Karel), ballets Bolero, Lucky Seven, Family Album, Miniatures at 7 pm
Prague Theater

Black Light Theater
The black light theater originated in Prague in 1961 and spread through the whole world. It could be nice experience to visit the black light theater performance in its hometown.
Black Light Theatre is a wild mix of illusory creations, altered reality perception and hidden secrets, all told through a magical world of mime and modern dance! Still not quite sure? Well, it's quite a Czech thing really, but great entertainment and is performed at various black light theatres throughout Prague. Appeals to all nationalities and ages.
Depending on the production, black light theatre can involve mime, ballet, animated film, puppets & live actors. Try it for a typically Czech night out in Prague.

Prague Marionette Theater (Puppet Show)
You can buy some marionette and puppet in the shops around the city center and you can even enjoy the marionette theater.
Puppet (Marionette) shows for children and adults have a long tradition in Prague and throughout the Czech Republic. Many of the master puppeteers' creations are real gems of artistry and craftsmanship.
The repertoire ranges from puppet versions of Mozart's famous Don Giovanni, to Yellow Submarine, the legendary film, with original recordings by the Beatles.
Whatever the performance, the National Marionette Theatre is terrific entertainment for children of all ages!
